Name Of The Post : Trade Apprentices

Qualification : Candidates should possess 8th/ 10th/ 12th under the 10+2 system with science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) for Fresher candidates and 8th/ 10th/ 12th under the 10+2 system with ITI in relevant trade for EX. ITI candidates. Refer official notification for post wise details.

Age Limit :
For Fresher Candidates: 15 to 20 Years for Welder (G&E), Carpenter, Painter and Upholster, 15 to 22 years for Fitter, Electrician and R&AC, 15 to 24 years for Medical Laboratory Technician (Radiology, Pathology, Cardiology).

For Ex ITI Candidates: 15 to 22 years for Welder (G&E), Carpenter, Painter and Wireman, 15 to 24 years for Fitter, Electrician, R&AC, Winder (Armature), Cable, Jointer, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic ( HT,LT) equipment & Cable Jointing, Turner, Machinist, DieselMechanic, MMV.
Age relaxation is applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PHP candidates as per GOI rules.

Selection Procedure : Candidates will be selected based on Medical/ Physical Test and Interview.

Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- through Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of “Workshop Personnel Officer, Carriage & Wagon Works, Southern Railway, Perambur, Chennai – 600 023” Payable at Chennai.
